Create Healthy Launches End-of-Year Fuel to the Fire Matching Donation Campaign for Local Organizations

November 14, 2023 (Fredericksburg, TX) – Create Healthy, the Fredericksburg-based foundation investing in the health and wellness of the Hill Country, launched a $25,000, dollar-for-dollar matching donation program for 10 local non-profit organizations working in the community.

Create Healthy will match up to $25,000 in donations, from October 1 through December 31, 2023 for:

• The Grace Center of Fredericksburg
• Hill Country Community Needs Council
• Hill Country University Center
• Boys & Girls Club of Fredericksburg
• Boys & Girls Club of Comfort
• The Good Samaritan Center
• The Golden Hub Community Center
• Fredericksburg I.S.D. Education Foundation
• Central Texas Food Bank
• Community Resource Centers of Texas, Inc.

“With Fuel to the Fire, Create Healthy can have an immediate impact on the health and wellness of our community,” said Jayne Pope, RN, CEO, Create Healthy. “Partnering with existing organizations ensures that our resources augment programs and services that are already making a difference in the lives of Hill Country community members.”

Create Healthy’s Fuel to the Fire program contributions come from a fund dedicated to sponsorships, scholarships, and community donations that are made at the discretion of Create Healthy’s leadership team.

Create Healthy is finalizing its 2024 grant priorities with input from nonprofit, faith, government, school, and business leaders.
