Kim Walker Behrends

ISSA Certified

Kim became an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer in 1986. She is also certified in Corrective Exercise and Exercise Rehabilitation. Her areas of interest include Strength Training, Aquatics, Instructing Group Exercise Classes, as well as Corrective Exercise Programs to help with Posture, Movement, and Mobility.
“As a corrective exercise specialist, I can dig deeper into the principles of personal training and exercise to get to the root of issues that cause pain and injury. It is my goal to teach my clients how to move through life with as much mobility and as little pain as possible. Doing functional exercises correctly will help achieve better alignment and movement. There is an exercise plan for everyone!”

Shannon Maenius

ACE Certified

Shannon has been certified since 1997 as an ACE Personal Trainer for adult individual or small group personal training.

Her areas of interest are coaching Indoor Cycling, TRX, Step Aerobics, Strength Training, and Functional Flexibility Group Exercise classes.

“I love helping people gain confidence through fitness. The stronger you are physically, the braver you become in all areas of your life. Educating my clients on ways to achieve that strength is my primary goal, regardless of age or fitness level. Injecting energy and fun into people’s lives through exercise is my passion.”

Shannon Mistr

NASM Certified

Shannon has been certified since 2017 as a NASM Personal Trainer with nineteen years of coaching high school and club swimming. Her areas of interest are Corrective Exercise, Mixed Martial Arts Conditioning, Obstacle Course Racing, Barbell Rehab and Olympic Weightlifting.

“Being healthy, happy, and whole in mind/body/spirit is so important. I love being able to get people connected to their inner warrior and show them how strong they REALLY are. My own experiences with injuries/surgeries and the rehab involved drives me to help others be strong and injury free, no matter their age and stage in life.”

Whitney has been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2022 for adult individual and small group training. Her areas of interest include Core Strengthening Cardio, Compound Exercises for Brain Stimulation, and Toning for
Women.

Jacob Qualben

NASM Certified

Jacob is a natural competitive bodybuilder with four years of bodybuilding experience. He was certified in 2022 as a NASM Personal Trainer. His areas of interest are helping clients lose fat and put on muscle through hypertrophy and strength- focused exercise.

Ashley Colmenero

Ashley has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer since 2024. Her main areas of interest are conditioning, strength, mobility and flexibility. Ashley has been the lead trainer in our Building A Better U program and continues to work with all age groups of clients wanting to improve their health and wellness.

With over 30 years of engineering experience and a lifelong passion for fitness, Tom Boyd brings a unique blend of science, structure, and motivation to every session. As a Certified Personal Trainer and Integrative Health Coach, he helps clients build strength, improve mobility, and achieve lasting results through customized, goal-driven programs. Drawing on his background, Tom takes a precise, form-focused approach to training that emphasizes efficiency and sustainable progress. Supportive yet strategic, he meets clients where they are and guides them toward their highest potential. His clients value his attention to detail, commitment to results, and passion for helping others move and feel their best.

Caitlyn Beam

NASM Certified

Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Caitlin Beam was certified in 2024 as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) with a strong passion for fitness, health, and helping others reach their goals. She creates personalized workout programs tailored to each client’s unique needs, abilities, and aspirations, bringing both expertise and enthusiasm to every session.
With over a year and a half of hands-on experience and a background in multiple sports – Caitlin has a well- rounded understanding of performance, endurance, and injury prevention. Her training sessions help clients move better, feel stronger, and live healthier through customized fitness guidance.

Melissa Klinksiek

ISSA Certified

Melissa Klinksiek is a U.S. Air Force Veteran with nearly 16 years of service and a degree in Exercise Science from Lionel University. She’s certified in Personal Training, Strength and Conditioning, Senior Fitness, Exercise Therapy, Group Fitness, and Nutrition, and is also a Health and Wellness Coach (AFPA certified) and Menopause Specialist (Girls Gone Strong certified). Melissa is passionate about helping clients build strength, balance, and confidence through every stage of life.

Alex Page

NASM Certified

Alex became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in 2025 with a deep passion for helping people move, feel, and live better. His areas of focus include Corrective Exercise, Hypertrophy Training, Weight Loss and Muscle Gain, and Strength Programming for older adults looking to improve bone health and mobility.
