Community needs have always shaped and guided everything the Create Healthy Wellness Center does— and it’s shaping the expansion.
The updated facility will support more classes, more space, a larger pool, and more opportunities for people to invest in their health.
How the Expansion Will Take Shape
Phase 1
Phase I begins Sept. 28 and will focus on construction of a new natatorium. The new aquatic space will expand capacity and create more opportunities for recreational swimming, exercise, therapy, and wellness programming.
Expected timeline: approximately 20 months. The existing pool will remain open until the new natatorium is complete and ready for use.
Phase 2
Phase II will continue with the remaining elements of the expansion, including additional fitness and programming space, an indoor walking track, a multi-use sport court, and other facility improvements.
More information about Phase II timing and construction will be shared as the project progresses.
⚠️Phase I Construction Begins September 28, 2026⚠️
Construction on Phase I of the Create Healthy Wellness Center expansion officially begins Sept. 28, marking an exciting milestone in the project. This first phase will focus on construction of the new natatorium, creating expanded swim space and capacity. The Wellness Center will remain open throughout Phase I, and the existing pool will remain available for use until the new natatorium is complete.
What to Expect During Phase I
The Wellness Center Remains Open
Members can continue attending classes and using the facility. No facility-wide closures are currently anticipated during Phase I.
The Pool Remains Available
Members can continue use the current pool until the new natatorium is fully operational.
Phase I Will Take ~20 Months
Signage will help guide members. If access routes or entrances change, signs will be posted throughout the facility.
Classes Will Continue as Scheduled
Members and class participants will be notified if construction affects a scheduled class or activity.
Updates Will Be Shared Throughout
Create Healthy will provide information as construction progresses and new milestones are reached.
