Create Healthy, the Fredericksburg-based foundation investing in the health and wellness of the Hill Country, announced more than $220,000 in scholarship donations for seven local non-profit organizations supporting the educational needs of Hill Country students. These established scholarship programs support local students in their pursuit of higher education at trade schools, community colleges, and universities.
“Expanding education opportunities and access to resources enables more Hill Country students to advance their education and pursue their goals and passions,” said Jayne Pope, CEO, Create Healthy. “We know there is a strong link between education and improved health and wellness, and these scholarships offer another avenue for our foundation to invest in our communities’ healthy future.”
