Create Healthy Announces Second Round of Funding for Local Organizations Supporting Mental Health, Early Childhood Education, and Healthy Living

Create Healthy continues investing in the health and wellness of the Hill Country with a second round of grants awarded to area initiatives supporting mental health, childcare, academic success, and healthy living.

“Create Healthy’s robust grants program is supporting programs and initiatives throughout the Hill Country that enrich the lives of children, teens, adults, and our seniors,” said Jayne Pope, RN, CEO, Create Healthy. “In partnership with the Hill Country’s leading nonprofit organizations, we are strengthening our communities, making the Hill Country an even better place to live, work, and play, and we look forward to exploring even more avenues of support with additional grantmaking later this year.”

All submitted grant applications are first reviewed by Create Healthy’s grants council with final approval given by its board of directors composed of community volunteers. Applications from eligible nonprofit organizations are accepted year-round.

Previous Create Healthy grant recipients include the Good Samaritan Center, Fredericksburg Independent School District, and the Fredericksburg Independent School District Education Foundation.
