Create Healthy Announces New Round of Grants Supporting Youth Mental Health, Early Childhood Education, and Healthy Living for Seniors

Create Healthy announced a new round of grants awarded to Hill Country initiatives supporting youth mental health, early childhood education, and healthy living for seniors.

“From youth mental health and early childhood education to healthy living for seniors, Create Healthy grant recipients provide resources and support for individuals and families of all ages,” said Jayne Pope, RN, CEO, Create Healthy. “We’re thrilled to partner with great local organizations making the Hill Country a better place to learn, live, and play.”

The Grace Center of Fredericksburg

Supporting youth mental health programs

Bethany Lutheran Church Preschool

Preschool expansion to provide education for more children

All submitted grant applications are first reviewed by Create Healthy’s grants council with final approval given by its board of directors composed of community volunteers. Applications from eligible nonprofit organizations are accepted year-round.

Previous Create Healthy grant recipients include the Good Samaritan Center, Fredericksburg Independent School District, and the Fredericksburg Independent School District Education Foundation.
