Create Healthy announces Volunteer Week Sponsorships to support Hill Country nonprofits in celebrating the contributions of their volunteers.
Through this program, Create Healthy will provide support to eligible organizations to sponsor activities during National Volunteer Appreciation Week in April 2025. Eligible organizations are those with volunteers providing services in mental health, early childhood development, healthy living, or health education and in the Counties of Gillespie, Blanco, Llano, and Mason as well as the town of Comfort.
“Volunteers are the backbone of our communities and of many of our dedicated nonprofit organizations,” said Jayne Pope, RN, CEO at Create Healthy. “With these Volunteer Week sponsorships, Create Healthy wants to give back to those who give so much, ensuring they feel valued and recognized during National Volunteer Appreciation Week.”
Recipient organizations will be featured on Create Healthy’s website and digital platforms, helping amplify their mission and volunteer efforts. In addition, Create Healthy will advertise a call for volunteers for each nonprofit through print ads created by Create Healthy.
Applications are due by April 4, 2025, at 5:00 PM CST, and selected organizations will be notified by April 11, 2025.
