Boys and Girls Club of the Highland Lakes – Llano On the Move Transportation

$40,000 for the Llano On the Move Transportation Program. The Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes will purchase a dependable vehicle for the Llano Unit to safely transport members to educational, recreational, and cultural activities during school holidays, spring break, and summer. The Llano Unit expects to serve 50 youth (40 average daily attendance), with transportation needed for up to 14 children per trip, multiple times per week during summer and school-out days.
The Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes is the only affordable out-of-school option for parents in Llano. The 2025 Summer Program will begin June 2nd with staff training, begin programming with children on June 9, and end August 1, 2025.
