Healthy Outcomes: Texas Ramp Project

With a $10,000 grant from Create Healthy, the Texas Ramp Project quickly transformed the lives of two Hill Country residents by building ADA-compliant wheelchair ramps to support independent living. Volunteers constructed a 70-foot ramp for a Blanco County resident, ending her year-long homebound isolation, and a 40-foot ramp for a Llano County resident, restoring her mobility and independence after facing injuries due to inaccessible steps.
