Healthy Outcomes: Boys and Girls Club of the Highland Lakes is Closing the Childcare Gap and Fueling Brighter Futures in Llano

Closing the Childcare Gap and Fueling Brighter Futures in Llano

Boys & Girls Club of the Highland Lakes serves more than 90 kids and empowers working families.

Create Healthy provided grant funding for program delivery of the organization’s Llano Campus. This allowed the Boys and Girls Club of the Highland Lakes to serve over 90 kids with consistent, high-quality care.

“Although Create Healthy helped us fund childcare, we are also funding mental health, healthy lifestyles, and the future of our community. The ripple effect of this funding is just phenomenal because when parents know their kids are in a safe, warm, welcoming environment, they’re able to work and add to the economic base of Llano.”
