Create Healthy Wellness Center and City of Fredericksburg Partner to Offer Summer Aquatic Fitness Classes
Classes begin June 1 at Lady Bird Park Pool
Create Healthy Wellness Center is partnering with the City of Fredericksburg to offer summer aquatic fitness classes at Lady Bird Park Pool beginning June 1.
The summer class schedule includes H2O Aerobics, Master Swim, and Deep Water fitness classes. Create Healthy Wellness Center members will receive first priority for class registration, and community members may participate when space is available for $2 per visit, paid at the pool before class begins.
“This partnership with the City of Fredericksburg gives more people an opportunity to try aquatic fitness in a welcoming, accessible setting,” said Dawn Bourgeois, director of Create Healthy Wellness Center. “We hope these classes help community members stay active during the summer and introduce new people to the many health and wellness offerings at the Wellness Center.”
“As our community’s wellness hub, the Create Healthy Wellness Center is much more than a fitness gym,” said Jayne Pope, president and CEO, Create Healthy. “Its classes, educational programming, and community offerings align with Create Healthy’s mission to invest in wellness.”
